Members receive a Newsletter each quarter
with club activities and short but interesting articles of a variety of topics
authored by members and guest writers.
Each year, one and sometimes two Journals are
published with in-depth articles written by authors from across the world as well
as from national and local members. Subjects covered include cultural and language
evidences of migration, clues from the decipherment of scripts on ancient artifacts,
interpretation of petroglyphs and Indian storys and legends.
Our major Event is the all-day Symposium held
each Spring with guest speakers and presentations of a central theme. Awards, such as
the Barry Fell Award and the Victor Moseley Award are presented to outstanding
people in their field. Members talk about their specialties and research results.
During the year Field Trips are made to nearby ancient
earthworks, museums, and epigraphic sites for "hands-on" observation and study.
