Midwestern Epigraphic Society Meetings

Quarter Meetings After a short business period, members make presentations using slides, powerpoints, videos or other methods to communicate personal research, topics in the news, club trips, projects or other epigraphic topics. 9 am - noon. Coffee and donuts are served.

Symposiums A two-day research symposium occuring every other year with member and guest speakers presenting a wide variety of topics of epigraphy, ancient history, ancient languages and writing that pertain to contact between the Americas and the rest of the world long before the arrival of Columbus. These are held on weekends with presentations starting Friday noon and continuing Saturday. Sunday is reserved for guided and self-guided tours of local earthworks

Monthly Breakfasts Though not really considered "meetings" - more an open forum - of hot topics of the hour, all over breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere at a nearby restaurant on the first Saturday of the month. Time 8:30am - 10:00AM.

Location: Panera Bread, 875 Bethel Rd, Columbus, Ohio - in the western leg of the Olentangy Plaza Shopping Center.
